WE EXPLORE TRADITIONAL MOROCCAN RECEIPTS

Your private guide will pick you up from your hotel or riad and take you to a local family's home to discuss your dinner options - you might make a tagine or couscous dish, prepare a Moroccan salad, or bake bread ("harcha") or pastries. Everything is under the supervision of your professional chef. You have a choice! Next, accompany your guide to the local market to get all of the essential ingredients. You will visit the souk to purchase all of the supplies, prepare the bread, salad, cuisine, and dessert, bake at a 400-year-old local community public oven (furan), and share the dinner in true Moroccan manner.

We love experiencing authentic Moroccan cookery! This is a wonderful chance to not only learn to cook but also to mingle with people and be hosted by a lovely Moroccan family. You will be shown about their family home, where you will be exposed to authentic Moroccan culture and family life.
